Hollywood 60's and 70's Rock Bands, Groupies, Photo's and Stories about The Sunset Strip

"This web site is dedicated to... The ritual of making our way up and down the Strip to all of the clubs. The Whisky, The Galaxy, and Gazzarri's, The Hullabaloo, Pandora's Box and Bido Lito's where we went to dance and see the many groups. The Hamburger Hamlet and Shaws near the clubs where we could get a bite to eat. When the clubs closed, everyone would head for Cantor's Restaurant on Fairfax to stand in line and once again meet all of their friends."

I think the word "garage band" is used to denote creative groups of the sixties ... Most imortantly, there are some excellent stories by band members from all kinds of bands.

Las Vegas Strip Historical Site

A detailed history of Las Vegas. We have nice mentions in the Flamingo, International (Hilton) & Thunderbird pages, though they do miss out on our 'nome de plume' of Trish Turner & the Big Spenders in the Ceasars' Palace page. Note: you need to use Internet Explorer to enter this site.
